We are in search of a Development and Communications Specialist (DCS) to spearhead efforts to generate support for the foundation and enable StS Philippines to accomplish its mission. The DCS will be the key driver in generating resources for the implementation of the various initiatives, programs, and activities for the foundation.

Initially a one (1) year contract, subject for extension and/or regularization, the DCS will work directly with the Board of Trustees and the Executive Director mainly to:

  1. Develop and implement different fundraising programs and strategies;
  2. Develop marketing and partnership materials;
  3. Expand the network of partners, donors, sponsors, and supporters for StS;
  4. Develop and implement the communications plan for StS;
  5. Manage StS website and social media presence;
  6. Ensure timely and quality reporting to donors, partners, sponsors, and supporters.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university
  • At least five (5) years experience in communications management and fundraising
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills
  • Proven success record in raising funds in support of programs and organizations
  • Fluent in English and Filipino
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Well-versed in current social media platforms and strategies
  • Passionate about community empowerment
  • Based in Metro Manila

We are in search of an Administrative and Communications Officer (ACO) to provide efficient administrative, operations, and communications support to the StS team.

The ACO will report directly to the Executive Director and work closely with the different departments and regional offices to: 

  1. Effectively manage internal and external communications;
  2. Produce relevant presentation materials, as well as photo and video documentation for sharing to partners and donors;
  3. Manage the foundation’s social media accounts and website by planning and producing content;
  4. Update the foundation’s fundraising materials as needed;
  5. Coordinate logistical arrangements as needed;
  6. Assist in maintaining and keeping documents as well as a complete database of partners, consolidated programs information, and employee information.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university
  • At least one (1) year experience in a graphic design position
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Lightroom and Premiere (or similar photo and video editing software)
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (or similar graphic editing software)
  • Knowledgeable in administrative office work
  • Well-versed in current social media platforms
  • Fluent in English and Filipino
  • Passionate about community empowerment and willing to do fieldwork, if needed
  • Based in Metro Manila
